Elmos and Advantest announce cooperation for automotive semiconductor testing
MUNICH/DORTMUND, Germany, May 8, 2009 – Advantest Corporation (TSE: 6857, NYSE: ATE) the world’s leading automatic test equipment supplier in the semiconductor industry and ELMOS Semiconductor AG, a leading supplier of high voltage semiconductors in the automotive industry, today announced their cooperation in the field of automotive semiconductor testing. Both companies signed an agreement to use the Advantest T2000 platform for testing ELMOS automotive devices.
This agreement extends the long-term business relationship that already started in 1998 between at that time SZ Testsysteme AG (today Advantest Europe GmbH) and Elmos.
